1052 WHALING, Eugene - Eugene Edward Whaling, age 72, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on January 13, 2014. He was born in Ellice Township, son of the late James and Iva Whaling. Beloved husband for 47 years of Mary (Power). Loving father of Sharon Shamblaw and husband Larry and Shelley McKichan (deceased). Grandfather of Amanda, Brandon (Samantha) and Morgan Shamblaw, Courtney and Cameron McKichan and their father Michael McKichan. Dear brother of Irene Savile, Ruth Mueller (Jack), Norma Mark, Margaret Reiger (Gordon), Leonard Whaling (Sandy), John Whaling (Pat). Also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Barb Whaling, Moses Power (Genny), Joan Mezenberg (Gerry), Leo Power (Lucia), Ernest Power (Loretta), Edna Brake, aunts, uncles and several nieces and nephews and his buddies Keda and Sofia. Besides his parents and daughter he was predeceased by brothers Howard, Gordon and James Whaling, by brothers-in-law Ray Savile, Ted Mark and Garry Brake and by a sister-in-law Cecilia Murphy. Eugene worked in maintenance with the Festival Inn for several years until his retirement. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Kilroy Council 1431, Stratford. Friends and relatives may call at the W.G. 1053 William "Bill" Stephens
William (Bill) Douglas Stephens passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home in St. Marys on March 24, 2017 at the age of 87.

Survived by his wife Anna (Thompson) Stephens and children Michael Stephens and his wife Shaila Ahmed of Toronto, Marilee Stephens of Edmonton, Sandy Stephens of Toronto, Scott Stephens of St. Marys, Mark Stephens of St. Marys, and grandchild Naylah Stephens. He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-laws, Vernon and Bessie Thompson and Helen McLean Nethercott, as well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bill is predeceased by his parents Clarence and Jane Stephens and his sister Marion Bickell. Bill was a long time farmer in the Kirkton area and was an actively engaged member of his community.

Visitation will be held at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. S. St. Marys (519-284-2820) on Monday, Mar. 27, from 7 � 9 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be conducted at MOTHERWELL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 2664 Perth Rd. 163, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Catherine Calkin officiating.

Beloved husband of Flora (Harper) Hodge whom he married on March 25, 1950. Dear father of Barry and Karen Hodge and Betty Ann and Ted Glauser. Cherished Papa of Aaron and Leslie, Angela, Aidan, Adam and Carolyn, Melissa and Deete.
Predeceased by his parents William Charles and Beatrice Annie (Batten) Hodge, brother Lorne and Grace Hodge, brother-in-law Allan Harper and sister-in-law Joan (Harper) MacLaren.
A family graveside service will be held. 1058 WILLIAM FREDERICK HORSTMAN was born June 23, 1882, at New Minden, Illinois. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church there. On August 29, 1910, he was united in marriage to Miss Dora Haunschild at Lockwood, Dade Co., Missouri, by Pastor George Muellar.

He was a resident of Kansas City for 30 years and held membership at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 42nd and Tracy, Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of the Voters Assembly since January, 1930, and served six years on the Church Council. During his entire membership at Immanuel he sang in the Church Choir.

In his daily occupation, he was assistant manger of the Store Without a Name located at 2515 Truman Road in Kansas City. After a period of impaired health covering about a year, he became seriously ill on Tuesday morning, November 27, and passed away on Wednesday afternoon, November 28, 1956.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Horstman; two sons, Captain William C. Horstman of Loring Air Force Base in Maine, and Cordes Horstman of Kansas City; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Maschoff of Centralia, Illinois.

1060 William Pridham (February 17, 1841 � March 29, 1919) was an English-born drover and political figure in Ontario, Canada. He represented Perth South in the Canadian House of Commons from 1892 to 1896 as a Conservative member.

He was first elected to the House of Commons in an 1892 by-election held after the election of James Trow in 1891 was overturned. Pridham was defeated by Dilman Kinsey Erb in bids for reelection in 1896 and 1900. Pridham lived in Fullarton.[Wikipedia]

Earl Zille, 82, Neillsville, died March 11, 1990, at 1:10 p.m., at Neillsville Memorial Home. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 14, 1990, at Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. Rev. Loren W. Hickerson officiated. Burial was in Neillsville City Cemetery. Friends served as pallbearers.

Earl Zille was born Jan. 20, 1908, in Fond du Lac, to Fred and Louis (Hintz) Zille. He was educated in Clark County. He married Orvilla Selves in Neillsville on June 20, 1937. He worked for the City of Neillsville for 14 years as a city engineer. He retired in 1970.
Surviving him are his wife Orvilla two sisters, Mrs. Lovella Herian, Marshfield Mrs. Esther Gallaway, Waukesha one brother, Harold Zille, Beloit two nieces and two nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother and three sister.
